Kate Gerwe

A strong advocate of environmental responsibility and sustainable business practices, Kate’s passion is evident by the projects she takes on professionally and the choices she makes personally. She is currently the Senior Director of Marketing and Corporate Partnerships at Yahoo!, where she leads the Yahoo! Green Team – an award-winning environmental program comprised of more than 200 Yahoo! volunteers – and has helped the group launch many successful environmental campaigns campus-wide, including the Green Movie Series, Green Speaker Series, and a real-time energy monitoring system for the company’s headquarters. In addition to her environmental expertise, Kate also brings more than 20 years of experience managing marketing programs and strategic partnerships for some of the world’s biggest brands. She has a Bachelor’s degree and an M.B.A. from Stanford University, and has also raised more than $50,000 for CARE projects in Honduras.

Corine Kaddouz

Corine believes one person can change a child’s world and she lives this philosophy by providing a safe, nurturing environment for them. As a mother, respected educator, family advisor, and trusted expert in child behavior and development for more than 30 years, she has encountered nearly every baby product there is and has the expertise to recognize truly safe products with real utility. As owner and director of the Papillon Preschool, which she established more than 14 years ago, she spends every day helping babies and toddlers reach key developmental milestones in their physical and emotional growth. An ardent advocate for the environment, Corine teaches her students important lessons and lifelong skills about conserving natural resources and protecting the planet. She has studied child development in five universities around the world, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Child Development, and has raised more than $45,000 for private schools.

Niki Saxena

Niki’s approach to keeping children healthy puts the focus on prevention, which is why she stresses to parents the importance of choosing only the safest baby products. A leading authority in pediatrics, Niki has been a pediatrician for more than 15 years and is recognized throughout the medical community for her forwardthinking philosophy and tireless dedication to children’s health. She is not only a partner of Kid Kare Associates – the 2008 Silver Medal winner in Parents® Magazine’s Best of the Best reader poll – she is also chief of staff for the pediatrics department at Sequoia Hospital. A Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics and a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners, Niki currently serves on the board of the San Mateo County Medical Association, a local branch of the A.M.A. She is also affiliated with Lucile Salter Packard Children’s Hospital of Palo Alto and the Mills Peninsula Hospitals, and is the founder of the Child Abuse Prevention Task Force at St. Louis University School of Medicine, where she earned her M.D.
